The first picture was taken in the parking lot of the Tri-County Plaza and is a Holly Bush, which was nicely trimmed. I copied and de-saturated the second picture to use it as a texture, by putting it on another photo and then reducing the opacity.
I put it on a picture that I was going to discard, which was taken a couple of weeks ago, which resulted in the third picture. I used a similar but different photo of the hot air balloons at that time.
By using post-processing, one can salvage photos that are less than perfect.
