July 2, 2012

Linda was not home this evening and we had left-overs from a New England Boiled Dinner in the refrigerator, which is Corned Beef, Potatoes, Cabbage, Carrots, Turnip, and Onions.

As a child, the left overs were ground up together and heated is a skillet on the stove top.  We always added Beets and this was called "Red Flannel Hash."  It was called "Grey Flannel Hash" without the Beets.

Thanks to Cuisinart, it was prepped in no time.  I added some ketchup, salt, and pepper and it tasted just as I remember it.
